Job summary

Uplers Solutions Private Limited is seeking a Software Engineer II for a remote India position. You will maintain existing Trillium Data Quality products and implement new features across cloud, on-premise, or data lake environments.

The role requires 2–4 years of enterprise software development in C/C++, experience with Windows and Linux, and scripting (Bash/PowerShell). Collaborative agile work with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Computer Technology, or related field.
• 2-4 years developing enterprise software using C/C++.
• Experience using AI coding assistants to support development tasks.
• Experience using AI tools to generate and refine code, incl. spec-driven development.
• Experience running on Windows and Linux, with scripting in Bash/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Understand product and feature requirements with Product Management.
• Participate in design reviews with senior engineers and stakeholders.
• Implement new features in line with business requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot product defects.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Implement unit and integration tests as needed.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and keep dependencies up to date.
• Contribute to Agile software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization.

The Software Engineer II is responsible for maintaining existing products, as well as implementing new features in the Trillium Data Quality product line. As a member of the Trillium Data Quality team, your focus will be on Enterprise Data Quality, and enabling customers to gain better insights into their data and mission critical applications in the cloud, on premise, or in a Data Lake.

As a member of the Trillium Data Quality team, your focus will be on Enterprise Data Quality, and enabling customers to gain better insights into their data and mission critical applications in the cloud, on premise, or in a Data Lake.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Product Management and other stakeholders to understand product and feature requirements
• Participate in software design reviews with senior engineers and stakeholders
• Implement new features in accordance with business requirements
• Debug and troubleshoot product defects
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues
• Implement unit and integration tests as needed
• Remediate security vulnerabilities found in product code and third-party libraries, and keep dependencies up to date
• Actively participate in the Agile software development life cycle
• Collaborate with members from other teams in the organization

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Computer Technology, or related field
• 2-4 years developing enterprise software using C/C++.
• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to support development tasks
• Experience using AI tools to generate and refine code, including spec-driven development approaches
• Experience implementing software that runs on Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience in Linux and Windows scripting (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with C++ programming
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs with Node.js
• Experience writing code in the TCL language
• Experience with Jenkins automation and/or CI/CD applications like Artifactory
