Maropost invites a skilled Software Engineer (Full-Stack– GoLang) to join our backend-focused team in Mohali. You will develop and architect RESTful services, focusing on GoLang microservices, while collaborating with Vue/React frontends and integrations for ecommerce stores.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech from a top-ranked college is required.
• 3+ years of backend, web apps and analytics experience.
• Production-scale deployment experience.
• Security knowledge (TLS/SSL) is required.
• Experience building multimodal API endpoints.
• Strong design-pattern knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• GoLang hands-on experience for 3+ years.
• Experience with Redis, Memcached, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Cloud infra with GCP/AWS, Kubernetes, load balancers.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Argo CD, Spinnaker, Terraform.

As aSoftware Engineer (Full-Stack– GoLang), focusing primarily on the backend on our team,you'llbe working with other engineers to further develop and architect our search and merchandizing as a service product.

The GoLang backend is responsible for several microservices, from managing the product configuration to integration with various platforms. The main database is PostgreSQL, and we also use cool tech such as Apache Pulsar. On the frontend we have our main back-office dashboard written in vue.js and we develop and maintain integrations for our customer's e-commerce stores as a react based SDK and, more recently, also packaged natively for specific platforms such as Shopify.

Whatyou'llbe responsible for:

• Build and manage REST API stack for Maropost Web Apps.
• Given the architecture strategy related to our big data, analytics and cloud native product vision, work on the concrete architecture design and when necessary, prototype it
• Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
• Drive innovation within the engineering team, identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technologies
• Drive the architecture and design governance for systems, and products under scope, as well as code and design reviews.
• Technical leadership of the development team and ensuring that they follow industry-standard best practices
• Evaluating and improving the tools and frameworks used in software development

Whatyou'llbring toMaropost:

• B.E/B.Tech from Top-ranked colleges.
• 3+ years of experience with building including design and architecting backend applications, web apps & analytics preferably in commerce cloud or marketing automation domain.
• Experience in deploying applications at scale in production systems.
• Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL etc)
• Experience in building and managing API endpoints for multimodal clients.
• Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a challenging & fun-filled startup.
• A knack for problem-solving and following efficient coding practices.
• Advanced HLD, LLD, Design Patterns knowledge is a must.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with GoLang.
  
• Open-source databases and caching: Redis, Memcache, MySQL
• Cloud services: Managing infrastructure with basic services from GCP or AWS, such as VMs, Kubernetes clusters, and Load Balancers.
• Open-source WAF tools and firewalls: Fail2ban, ModSecurity, Coraza.
• Frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Vue JS.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Argo CD, Spinnaker, Terraform
