**Software Engineer (Full Stack)**Ingram Micro is looking for a **Software Engineer (Full Stack)** to join our IT and Engineering team and contribute to the development and enhancement of modern web applications supporting the **Ingram Micro XvantageTM digital platform**.The primary focus of this role is hands-on software development using **.NET Core, React, and SQL databases**. You will work as part of an Agile engineering team to develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain reliable full-stack application capabilities.You will collaborate with senior engineers, lead engineers, product teams, and other technology stakeholders while developing your expertise in modern software engineering practices.Secondary focus areas include gaining practical exposure to **Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps practices, and modern AI/GenAI development tools.****Your Role****Your Role:****Primary Focus – Full Stack Software Development*** Develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack web application features under the guidance of senior engineers.* Build responsive and reusable front-end components using **React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS**.* Develop and maintain backend services and **REST APIs using .NET Core / C#**.* Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and application data-access components.* Participate in the implementation of business requirements and translate functional specifications into working software.* Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established coding standards and engineering practices.* Create and maintain **unit tests and integration tests** to improve application quality.* Troubleshoot application defects and perform root-cause analysis with support from senior team members.* Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve code quality.* Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.**Secondary Focus – Cloud, DevOps & AI Exposure*** Support deployment and operation of applications on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**.* Gain hands-on exposure to cloud services such as **Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL**.* Work with development teams to support **CI/CD pipelines**, automated builds, testing, and deployments.* Use containerization technologies such as **Docker** for application development and deployment.* Leverage modern **AI-assisted development tools** such as Copilot, Gemini, or similar tools to improve developer productivity.* Gain exposure to integrating AI/GenAI APIs and capabilities into enterprise applications.* Assist with application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance improvement activities.**What You Bring to the Role****Education*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering**, or a related technical field.**Experience*** **2 years of software engineering experience**, preferably focused on full-stack web application development.**Core Technical Skills – Primary Focus****Backend*** Hands-on experience with **.NET Core / C#**.* Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software development principles.* Experience developing or consuming **REST APIs**.* Basic understanding of microservices and distributed application concepts.**Frontend*** Hands-on experience with **React** and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.* Understanding of React components, Hooks, state management, and reusable UI development.* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.**Database*** Working knowledge of **SQL and relational databases** such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Cloud SQL.* Ability to write SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and basic data-access logic.* Basic understanding of database design, indexing, and query performance.**Secondary & Supporting Skills*** Basic knowledge or practical exposure to **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** or another major cloud platform.* Familiarity with **Git/source control** and collaborative development workflows.* Understanding of automated testing and **CI/CD concepts**.* Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development is preferred.* Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as **GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or similar tools** is an advantage.* Exposure to AI/GenAI concepts, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or intelligent search is a plus.* Experience working within **Agile/Scrum development teams**.**Specialized Knowledge & Skills*** Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.* Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.* Understanding of clean-code principles and willingness to follow established coding standards.* Basic awareness of secure coding practices and application security principles such as **OWASP**.* Ability to learn new technologies and apply feedback from senior engineers.* Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work within distributed Agile engineering teams.* Good written and verbal communication skills.* Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned development tasks.* Passion for continuous learning and building high-quality software.
