Job summary

Cohesity is seeking Software Engineers to design, develop, and maintain on-prem products, collaborating across product, engineering, and support teams. You will work on scalable architectures, ensure test-driven development, and contribute to AI-driven productivity improvements.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in distributed systems, proficiency in C++/Golang, and a strong foundation in Agile practices. Hybrid work model with onsite offices and global customers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proficient in C++ and Golang; system-side programming.
• 4–8 years of developing and solving large-scale distributed systems.
• Quick learner with intellectual horsepower.
• Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding problem-solver who can address complex problems.
• Motivated to improve testing methodologies and build quality products.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and decision making.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, storage or virtualization is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microservices and Cloud-native services is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

You are not only a Software Engineer who crafts and implements features but should have a curiosity about diagnosing problems in large bodies of complex code, Also is able to comprehend scalability and performance and work on fixes with rapid turnaround time and high-quality results. Along with being part of our Product and Sustenance Engineering team, you will also be collaborating with Product Managers and more importantly with Customer Support, System Engineers and Customers.
