About the job Software Engineer - Backend Developer

Looking for a seasoned backend developer to design, build and ship robust backend solutions geared for scale.

They are someone in the age group of 23 - 29 years, who is currently living in Bangalore or is willing to relocate later and can start immediately or have a notice period of fewer than 30 days

Job Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining server-side framework and working with the frontend team to integrate all services for the mobile application
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Participating in meetings as per project requirements
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership
• Taking lead on projects, as needed
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Work on bug fixing and improving overall application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, learn, and implement new programming languages to maximize development efficiency

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proficient understanding of data structures, algorithms
• Good understanding of Firebase capabilities like Firestore & Cloud Functions
• Expert knowledge of building and working with RESTful APIs
• Good familiarity with building basic rudimentary UIs for web platforms

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior experience with AWS services like Lambda functions, DynamoDB, S3 and so on
• Good understanding of Dart or the agility to learn new languages quickly
• Ability to develop automated regression models and other testing frameworks
