Job summary

Infor in Hyderabad, India is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join a development team responsible for maintaining and enhancing a large multilingual ERP cloud suite built with VC++/C++, Visual Studio, C#, and SQL databases.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to analyze requirements, implement code changes, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent.
• 0 to 3 years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Stack Technologies: VC++ / C++, Visual Studio, C#, .NET.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and software development fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a development team to maintain and enhance a large ERP cloud suite application based on established requirements.
• Develop, test, and debug software using technologies including VC++ / C++, C#, and SQL DB.
• Analyse application issues and implement solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in code review activities, learn from feedback provided by senior engineers, and apply recommended improvements to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with QA and product support teams to reproduce, investigate, and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Follow established development processes, coding standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to unit testing and validation of implemented changes.
• Actively engage in Agile team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks and development activities.
• Maintain a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and providing the best experience possible for Infor customers.
