Job summary

Electrifex in India seeks a curious AI Research Developer to explore prototype and benchmark emerging AI techniques, translating research into deployable software across cloud and edge environments.

You will reproduce results from papers, design experiments, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to hand over validated approaches, with clear reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, or a relevant field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Solid grounding in machine learning and deep learning fundamentals: activation functions, loss functions, optimizers, regularization, and evaluation metrics.
• Good understanding of Transformer internals and of CNN, RNN, LSTM, and Vision Transformer architectures.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and the Hugging Face ecosystem.
• Understanding of the LLM inference pipeline, tokenization, sampling strategies, and KV caching.
• Familiarity with fine-tuning techniques (LoRA/QLoRA, SFT, instruction tuning) and experiment tracking.
• Good knowledge of graph and vector databases and RAG implementation.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to read research papers critically and communicate findings clearly.
