Job summary

Black Duck Software in Bengaluru, India, is hiring a software engineer with Go/Java to design cloud-native applications. You will work on scalable microservices, optimize PostgreSQL performance, and implement secure communication across services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and help define technical solutions while ensuring reliable, secure deployments in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of work experience.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Strong PostgreSQL and/or other databases with performance optimization.
• Experience with distributed microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ messaging.
• Security in microservices and knowledge of authentication protocols.
• Familiarity with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
• Experience with web frameworks and services (GRPC, REST).
• Experience with PostgreSQL ORM-based persistence.
• Cloud platforms knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of cloud-native applications using Go/Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews and perform thorough testing to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define technical solutions and deliverables.

Job description

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Total years of work experience: 3+ years.
• Proficiency in programming languages, primarily Golang (Must).
• Strong experience in Database - PostgreSQL OR Any Database - Performance optimization, Scaling.
• Experience with Distributed Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with different Service Communication technologies (Messaging queue-based communication Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Experience with Security in Microservices Architecture and knowledge of common authentication protocols and implement and maintain security measures to protect the application and user data from unauthorized access.
• Familiarity with various authorization models, Role-Based Access Control.
• Experience with web development frameworks and Services (GRPC, RESTful).
• RDBMS (PostgreSQL) databases experience and design persistence layer for Microservices using ORMs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including a background in Cloud infrastructure Services (network, cloud storage-related solutions, IAM, Cloud function, etc.).
