Job summary

Euromonitor International is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to build and maintain high-quality web applications on the Microsoft stack. You will work with a team to deliver enterprise systems, maintain coding standards, and contribute to timelines and estimations.

The role requires 2+ years in .NET, MVC, Web API, Angular 2, Node.js, EF, and SQL, with experience in testing tools and DevOps practices. Azure cloud knowledge and strong OO design are expected, in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, focusing on Microservices (Web API) and web applications.
• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Angular 2, Node.js, Entity Framework (or any ORM), and SQL.
• Familiar with testing tools: MSTest, NUnit, and Jasmine for Angular.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Understanding of Azure Cloud technology.
• Solid grasp of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and GIT.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).

Overview Of The Role

What you'll do

Software Design

• Ensure final product compliance with user specifications through regular reviews.

• Analyze and address post-deployment bugs.
• Review user feedback and implement development action plans.
• Provide support to end-users of applications.

General Duties

• Train team members on agile development practices and design principles.
• Ensure successful project/task completion and maintain technical quality of junior members.
• Write concise documentation for applications and websites.
• Initiate use of new technologies that benefit the project.
• Participate in the recruitment of new team members.

What We're Looking For
