The Software Engineering team at Dell Technologies develops next-generation application improvements and new products for a rapidly changing technology landscape. As a Software Engineer 1, you will work on developing systems and software aligned with customer business goals and operating environments, creating solutions that support evolving product needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test and integrate code for new or existing software while following source code revision control processes.
• Troubleshoot issues related to software reliability and performance.
• Review requirements, specifications and designs, and build tests that help ensure product quality and performance.
• Support the preparation and review of technical end-user documentation.
• Contribute ideas for new software products or improvements to future product versions.
• Entry-level knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and database technologies.
• Ability to debug simple programs using written or verbal design specifications.
• Understanding of interactions between hardware and software components.
• Exposure to server, storage, networking and client technologies.
• Basic knowledge of software architectures and application design.
