Job summary

Chubb India is seeking a skilled React JS Full Stack Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to join our Enterprise Application Services team. You will design, develop, and maintain web apps using React JS and .NET Web API, and build RESTful APIs for data integration.

You will work with SQL Server, SSIS, Kafka, Linked Servers, and Azure, participate in code reviews, and support production deployments including weekend windows when required. A bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is expected.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled React JS Full Stack Developer with 3–4 years of hands‑on experience to join our Enterprise Application Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React JS, .NET Web API, SQL Server, SSIS, Kafka, Linked Servers, and Azure. The role requires experience in developing web applications, building APIs, supporting data integration processes, and handling production support activities as needed. Flexibility to support weekend deployments and urgent production issues is required.

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React JS and .NET Web API.
• Build responsive, reusable, and user‑friendly front‑end components using React JS.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API / .NET.
• Debug, analyze, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.

Database & Data Integration

• Work with SQL Server to write and optimize queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Analyze and maintain database objects to support application and reporting needs.
• Design, develop, and support SSIS packages for ETL and data integration processes.
• Work with Linked Servers for cross‑server and cross‑database integrations.
• Support and maintain Kafka‑based messaging and integration workflows.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Assist in deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications hosted on Azure.

Production Support & Deployment

• Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve application issues.
• Be willing to support weekend deployments and urgent production activities when required.

Qualifications / Key Requirements

Experience

• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in full stack development.
• Strong experience with React JS, including components, hooks, routing, state management, and API integration.
• Strong experience in .NET / C# and ASP.NET Web API development.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of REST API development, integration, and debugging.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including query writing, joins, indexes, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with Linked Servers and distributed data access.
• Hands‑on experience with SSIS for ETL package development and maintenance.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging, event‑driven integration, or data processing.
• Exposure to Azure services for hosting, deployment, monitoring, or support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to provide production support and work on weekend deployments when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript in React applications.
• Familiarity with Redux or similar state management libraries.
• Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in the Insurance domain is a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance business processes such as policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, renewals, and endorsements is preferred.
• Ability to understand business/domain requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
