Job summary

HMH Technology Private Limited is building next generation learning platform and microservices. This hands-on coding role is part of a cross-functional team of developers, designers and QA in an agile environment.

You will design and implement microservices, review AI-generated code, and apply best practices in CI/CD using GitHub Actions, OpenAI Codex, Windsurf, and AWS. We value problem solving, proactive communication and a passion for high quality software.

Technology Stack

You''ll work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot/Dropwizard, ActiveMQ, GitHub Actions etc.

This will be a hands-on coding role working as part of a cross-functional team alongside other developers, designers and quality engineers, within an agile development environment. Were working on the development of our next generation learning platform and solutions utilizing the latest in server and web technologies. You will need experience in Agent AI developmentand proficiency in using AI-assisted engineering tools likeOpenAI Codex,Windsurf, and similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

• You''ll contribute to the technical leadership and collective ownership and delivery of component design, development and maintenance
• You''ll initiate and manage code reviews
• Review and structure code generated code by AI agents as well as developed by team
• Work on incorporating business logic, integration points and other conditions not captured by the agents in the generated code.
• You''ll contribute to our engineering culture and ever-improving concept of engineering best practices
• You''ll have a proven understanding of project tracking and agile development methodologies
• You''ll work collaboratively within a cross-functional, agile development team to solve problems, transfer knowledge and contribute to overall product architecture

Skills Experience:

• 3 to 5years'' experience in a relevant software development role
• You are an experienced Java developer with exposure to frameworks such as Spring Boot/Dropwizard
• Basic understanding of Node.js and its core functions
• Experience with architectural concepts such as microservices and separation of concerns
• Good exposure to AI Agentic development and related tools
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Mesos
• Experience with messaging Systems such as ActiveMQ and SQS
• Experience with Database and Caching technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Dynamo and Redis
• Experience with development tools such as GitHub and Jira
• Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions for build and deployment automation
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS
• Hands-on expertise withAI-powered development toolslikeCodex,Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Experience in Test Driven Development and automated testing tools like Junit, Mockito, SonarQube and Gatling
• Optional: Snowflake application will be added plus for all profile
