Job summary

IDfy in Mumbai is seeking a hands-on platform engineer to shape the core platform, APIs, and data flows. You will own systems used by multiple teams and collaborate across product, security, DevOps, and data to drive reliability and scale.

Bring 2–4 years of full-stack experience with cloud-based customer-facing systems, a strong product mindset, and a proven ability to design cloud-native architectures and distributed services. This role offers a dynamic, high-impact environment.

• Have at least 2-4 years fullstack exposure working on cloud-based, customer-facing systems in production
• Exposure to platform, infra-adjacent, or enablement teams
• Bring a strong product development mindset, not just technical execution
• Have experience designing cloud-native architectures - APIs, services, data models, and trade-offs
• Have built and operated distributed, microservice-based systems
• Are comfortable owning systems that are used by multiple teams
• Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms and databases

• Owning the design and evolution of core platform modules.
• DesigningAPIs, services, and data flows that operate reliably at scale.
• Driving system design discussions across teams Collaborating closely with engineers across the tech pod product, security, DevOps, and data Making architectural decisions with a balance of speed, scale, security, and maintainability.
• Debugging and resolving complex production issues.
• Mentoring engineers and raising the overall engineering bar.
• Continuously improving platform reliability and developer experience.
