Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer in Hyderabad to design, develop, and implement software solutions within CBRE's software engineering function. The role involves executing the full SDLC, maintaining code quality, and documenting requirements and designs.

The candidate should bring 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong analytical judgment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. You will contribute to process improvements and collaborate across teams while upholding CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC), build high-quality, innovative, and performing software.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and technical designs.
• Create flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
• Document feature specifications and identify operational feasibility.
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Record and maintain software functionality; deploy programs and review user feedback; troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
• Coach others and shares in-depth knowledge of Software Engineering discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

• Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
