Job summary

TCS in Hyderabad invites seasoned C++ developers to design, develop, and optimize high-quality Linux applications using modern C++11/14/17 features. You'll build scalable, thread-safe components, leverage STL, and collaborate in an Agile environment.

You will participate in architecture discussions, write efficient algorithms, and contribute to code reviews, profiling, and documentation, working closely with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in Modern C++ on Linux, with STL and DSA knowledge.
• Deep understanding of STL containers, algorithms, iterators and function objects.
• Proven experience in multithreading and concurrency control.
• Solid OO design experience and familiarity with design patterns.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Experience with CMake/Make/GCC and debugging/profiling tools (GDB/Valgrind/Perf).

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on expertise in Modern C++ (11/14/17) features such as smart pointers, lambdas, concurrency, move semantics, auto/type inference on Linux OS
• Deep understanding of STL (containers, algorithms, iterators, function objects).
• Proven experience in multithreading (mutexes, locks, condition variables, atomics, thread pools).
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Observer, Strategy, etc.).
• Strong grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms and complexity analysis.
• Experience with build tools like CMake, Make, or GCC
• Familiarity with debugging/profiling tools (GDB, Valgrind, Perf).
