Your Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Software Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll work primarily with Python for backend development, React for user interface, and gain hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), where all our products are built and deployed. We’re also excited about leveraging Generative AI tools (like GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini) to boost our productivity, and we’d love for you to explore these with us. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2 – 4 years of experience who’s eager to deepen their technical skills, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to the full lifecycle of our web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python (e.g. Flask, FastAPI) for the backend.
• Build engaging user interfaces with React.js, ensuring they’re responsive and user‑friendly.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and implement new features.
• Assist in managing and optimizing data storage solutions, working with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cloud SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Firestore).
• Help deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), learning about services like App Engine, Cloud Functions, and Compute Engine.
• Write clean, well‑structured, and testable code.
• Explore and utilize Generative AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, or similar) to improve your coding efficiency and learn best practices.
• Help troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring our applications run smoothly.
• Stay curious and keep up with the latest technologies and best practices in fullstack development and cloud platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 2 – 4 years of professional experience in full‑stack cloud application development.
• Good understanding and practical experience with Python for backend development (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Solid experience with React.js (Redux, Context API, Hooks, etc.).
• Foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cloud SQL) and basic database operations.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Firestore).
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is a strong plus; a willingness to learn and grow your GCP skills is essential.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, or a strong interest in learning to use them to enhance development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of basic software development practices, including testing.
• Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
