Job summary

Responsive is seeking a product-minded Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale distributed systems in a fast-paced, SaaS environment. You will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and UX designers to deliver high-performance, low-latency features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• At least 2+ years in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions using Java.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming, Java design patterns, and server-side Java development.
• Experience with Spring, React, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS; knowledge of cloud-native AI/ML services, data storage and processing.
• Expertise in search/retrieval technologies (ElasticSearch, Apache Solr); NLP, semantic search, and text processing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Scrum and JIRA experience is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS/tech environment.

What We re Looking For

Education
