Job summary

Aptiv Connection Systems, Chennai Engineering Center in Chennai, India, seeks an embedded systems engineer to develop and debug MCU-based applications using C/C++ for automotive solutions, collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure safe and reliable mobility.

The role requires hands-on experience with MCU development, I2C/SPI/UART/CAN interfaces, NFC and Qi wireless charging, plus hardware-readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering with 5-10 Years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages for embedded systems.
• Solid experience with MCU development and debugging.
• Experience with Qi wireless charging standard and related protocols (e.g., PD fast charging) is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge for NFC function and NFC architecture.
• Experience with common communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN.
• Ability to read schematics and basic hardware knowledge to enable effective collaboration with hardware engineers.
• Knowledge of encryption algorithms (e.g., RSA, SHA256) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a good sense of teamwork, and responsibility.
