NatWest Group in Chennai is seeking a Software Engineer at associate level to build and maintain innovative, high-performance software solutions. You will work in a feature team, collaborating with engineers, architects and business analysts to deliver value.

This role focuses on producing robust code across the full life cycle, from design to deployment, with emphasis on scalability, security and performance. You’ll apply DevOps practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Formación

• To take on this role, you’ll need a background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.
• Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools and wikis.
• Experience in multiple programming languages or low code toolsets.
• Experience of DevOps, Testing and Agile methodology and associated toolsets.
• Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualization, optimisation, availability and performance.

• Working in permanent teams with responsibility for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.
• Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability.
• Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code.
• Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations.
