Job summary

Industrial Scientific is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain UIs and APIs using React/Next.js and .NET/C#. You will implement data access with Entity Framework, participate in code reviews, and work across AWS services, CI/CD, CloudOps, and AI-assisted development tools.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable, robust solutions while focusing on code quality and incident management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of full-stack development with React/Next.js and .NET C#.
• Strong problem solving and proactive incident management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UIs and APIs using Next.js and C#.
• Implement and maintain data access layers with Entity Framework.

• Debug and resolve issues in development, testing, and production.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and PMs to design scalable systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid‑Level Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using REACT (Next.js) .NET, C#, and Entity Framework. You will work closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to build robust and scalable solutions that meet the needs of our clients and customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UIs and APIs using Next.js and and C# to support various applications and services.
• Implement and maintain data access layers using Entity Framework.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Debug and resolve issues in the development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product managers to design scalable and reliable systems.
• Work with AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and others, to support application development and deployment.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate seamless delivery of software updates.
• Collaborate with CloudOps teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and cloud resource utilization.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, troubleshooting, and delivery outcomes while applying sound engineering judgment.
• Create and execute unit tests for Next.js UI components and Entity Framework APIs to improve application overall code quality.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (Non‑Negotiable)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with full stack experience using React/Next.js and .NET C#.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to incident management and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications Preferred

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience in CloudOps practices and cloud cost management.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud‑based solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
