Job summary

POINT72 in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Engineer for a full-time role, contributing to the development and maintenance of software systems powering trading and investment operations. You will work with Git, JIRA and other industry-standard tools, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, graduating in 2026.
• Currently enrolled at IIT Hyderabad.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, C++, or equivalent programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Git, JIRA, and other industry-standard development tools.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices in the field.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects and meet competing deadlines without compromising quality.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail in code reviews and problem-solving.
