Job summary

WQT in Pune invites applications for a Software Development Engineer Intern role focused on MCP Server and LLM AI. You will design, implement, and maintain MCP servers, build backend services and REST APIs, and integrate LLMs with databases and external tools.

Collaborate with product, AI, and frontend teams to ship real-world AI features, debug pipelines, and improve performance, security, and reliability of production-grade systems during a 6-month internship.

Qualifications

• Final-year students in Computer Science or related fields.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with backend development and REST APIs; familiar with LLM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MCP servers for structured LLM communication.
• Build and optimize backend services and REST APIs for AI workflows.
• Integrate LLM models with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Implement tool calling, context management, and prompt orchestration.

We are looking for a highly motivated SDE Intern with a strong interest in AI systems, LLMs, and backend engineering to work on cutting-edge MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development. You will help build scalable, secure, and intelligent systems that connect LLMs with real-world tools, APIs, and data sources, enabling agentic and production-grade AI workflows.
