Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• 3+ years of Video Games Industry experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage and use.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

We own the experiences that help hundreds of millions of customers worldwide make confident purchase decisions, from the moment they land on a product page to the moment they add to cart. Our work spans offer selection, offer display, pricing presentation, and the rich product information that surrounds the buy box. As a Software Development Engineer II on this team, you will own the design and delivery of significant features and services end to end. You will make architectural decisions that shape how hundreds of millions of customers discover, evaluate, and purchase products on Amazon. Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
