Job summary

Sagent India in Chennai seeks a capable software developer to join our development team. You will design, develop and test web UI, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native components on an Agile team with onshore and offshore members.

You will troubleshoot bugs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, document designs and perform unit/integration tests. Strong background in ReactJS, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Azure DevOps is required.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years in fast-paced software development with web app focus.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency with ReactJS, Spring Boot, REST API.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated member of the development team.

• Collaborate with managers, developers, QA, BAs, and clients to understand requirements.

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:

• Associate will serve as a dedicated member of our development Team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and deployment issues
• Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator

• Collaborate with managers, other developers, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts. Client Service Representatives and clients to understand requirements and demonstrate progress
• Work on an agile team with both onshore and offshore team members to help plan, implement and support enterprise web applications
• Design, develop and test new system capabilities, including: web UI, REST API, Microservices, serverless components, cloud native
• Document and communicate technical designs, standards and processes as needed
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality
• Continuously enhance skills by learning and applying relevant technologies and patterns

• Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in fast-paced software industry with an in-depth understanding web application development.
• Agile development methodology
• Experience with ReactJS
• Experience with the Spring Boot
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java
• Experience with REST API, Open API standard
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Visual Studio and GIT
• Extensive experience with full-lifecycle development (i.e. design, coding, testing, debugging, etc.).
• Experience with distributed systems. (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to Cloud Native Programming and components
