Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a frontend engineer in Gurugram to build responsive, accessible UI using modern frontend tech and React. You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with product and design teams to deliver high-quality experiences for travelers and partners.

You will work on API integration, data modeling, testing, and performance optimization, with opportunities to explore AI/ML-enabled capabilities within frontend applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of frontend experience, React etc.
• Experience owning frontend features from design through deployment and support.
• Proficiency in frontend development, API integration, data modeling, version control, automated testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-quality frontend applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional frontend experience, react etc.
• Experience owning frontend features or components within a service or application from design through deployment and support.
• Proficiency in frontend development, API integration, data modeling, version control, automated testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building accessible, responsive, performant, and maintainable frontend applications at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to use data and production insights to improve user experience, application reliability, and performance.
• Experience contributing to low-level design and frontend architecture across multiple services or technical domains.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools or applying AI/ML concepts to improve frontend capabilities and engineering workflows.
• Experience safely integrating, monitoring, and operating AI/ML-enabled features within frontend applications.
