Job summary

ADCI - Maharashtra, part of Amazon’s Echo Devices team in Pune district, seeks a software engineer to develop and maintain systems for Echo Show and other Alexa devices. You will collaborate across device and cloud teams to deliver responsive, scalable features and cross-device integrations.

You will contribute to platforms handling voice-backed visuals, device APIs, and high-performance services, with an emphasis on delivering low latency at scale and building engaging user interfaces.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new systems, partnering with Amazon and third-party services and device teams as required.
• Ensure that Alexa almost never drops her end of the conversation, delivering services that respond with minimal latency at Amazon scale.
• You may work on device frameworks, web services, APIs, large scale data infrastructure, and more.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 4+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
