OYO is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our engineering team in Gurugram. You will design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and contribute to system architecture decisions.

You will work on backend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and participating in the full software development lifecycle.

Formación

• Proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on with Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong backend development understanding.
• Experience building/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL.
• Solid SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with system design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer II to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining scalable software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build high-quality products and contribute to system architecture and technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high-performance, scalable applications
• Write clean, efficient and reusable code following best engineering practices
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver features
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and reliability
• Improve application performance, scalability and security
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
• Experience with object-oriented programming
• Hands-on experience with Java / Python / C++ / JavaScript
