Job summary

Yourdost is seeking a Software Development Engineer-II to join our engineering team. You will work across backend services, frontend interfaces, and cloud infrastructure, building features end-to-end from database to UI in a small, generalist team.

You will own and implement end-to-end features in Java and React, design MySQL schemas for scale, and deploy services on AWS. Collaboration with product and design is essential to translate requirements into working software, with CI/CD processes in

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and work across backend services, frontend interfaces, and cloud infrastructure. You'll build and maintain features end-to-end- from database schema to UI- as part of a small, generalist team where everyone contributes across the stack.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Java (Spring Boot or equivalent)
• Build responsive, performant UIs in React JS
• Design and optimize MySQL schemas, queries, and indexes for scale
• Deploy and manage services on AWS
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack from DB to browser
• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate requirements into working software
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Must-Have Skills

• 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong backend development in Java (Spring/Spring Boot)
• Solid experience with MySQL - schema design, query optimization, transactions
• Proficiency in React JS- hooks, state management, component architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Understanding of REST API design and integration
• Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows
• Ability to work independently and own features end-to-end

Good to Have

• Experience with Flutter for mobile app development
