Blueheaven Software India Private Limited is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our engineering team to design, build, and maintain scalable web and software applications across SaaS, AI, CRM/ERP, and custom product work.

You will design, build, and test web and software applications, develop backend services and APIs, and create responsive frontends while collaborating with Architects, PMs, UI/UX designers, QA, and fellow developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web and software applications.
• Build scalable and maintainable backend services and APIs.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Convert business and technical requirements into functional software solutions.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and write efficient queries.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
• Follow Git-based development and version-control practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Participate in deployment, troubleshooting, and production support when required.
• Maintain proper technical documentation for developed modules and features.
• Contribute to reusable components, libraries, and development standards.
• Stay updated with modern software development practices and technologies.

Required Technical Skills

• Good experience with Node.js and backend development.
• Experience with React.js or another modern frontend framework.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
• Working knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB or other relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of MongoDB or NoSQL databases is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and common web security practices.
• Familiarity with debugging, logging, testing, and performance optimization.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and Route 53.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience integrating payment gateways, WhatsApp APIs, email services, or other third-party APIs.
• Experience with AI/LLM API integrations.
