Sound understanding of CS fundamentals and Data Structures.
Knowledge of RDBMS.
Can-do attitude and willingness to go beyond the standard tasks.
Penchant for good programming practices, TDD, etc.

Responsibilities

During training - Ensure completion of assignments in the given time.
Reach out to the mentor(s) in a timely manner in case of any doubts.
Post training - Follow the development best practices taught during the training.
Put in best effort to complete the assigned task as per the timelines.
Reach out to the project lead in a timely manner in case of any doubts.
Be punctual for scheduled meetings and discussions.
