UKG is seeking a motivated Software Development Engineer (P2) to join our Shared Services team within Employee Solutions & Experience (ESE). This role supports the advancement of Quality Engineering through modern test automation, strong software development practices, AI-assisted capabilities, and reusable solutions that help product teams deliver high-quality software at speed.
As a software engineer, you will develop and maintain automation solutions, contribute to shared frameworks and engineering tools, and work closely with development teams across ESE to improve test coverage, delivery efficiency, and release confidence. You will gain experience with continuous testing, CI/CD, observability, AI-assisted development, and emerging agentic approaches to software validation.
The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering foundation, an interest in quality and developer productivity, and a desire to learn and apply modern automation, DevOps, and AI technologies. They will work with experienced engineers to build reusable solutions that benefit multiple teams across UKG.
The strongest candidate will have a software engineering mindset, a strong interest in quality, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. They should be able to demonstrate code, automation, or engineering solutions they have personally built—not only testing tools they have operated.
