Siemens Mobility in Pune is seeking a Software Developer- Train IT to develop, test, and maintain high quality software applications for train IT subsystems. You will participate in code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure performance and reliability.

The role requires a strong Go background, expertise in modern authentication (OAuth2.0), IT security awareness, and proficiency with Linux, Docker/Podman, and databases.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5–7 years of core software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) development for performance-critical systems.
• Familiarity with OAuth2.0, IT security principles and containerization tools.
• Experience with Linux systems, networking and databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite).

We are looking for Software Developer- Train IT

You’ll make a difference by

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years ofcore software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in go (Golang) development with experience building performance-critical systems software.
• Experience with modern authentication frameworks such as OAuth2.0 and tokenization are great plus
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with docker/podman for containerization.
• Familiarity with protocols and mechanisms for certificate usage in IT environments.
• Proficient in Linux systems and networking (Ethernet, Routing, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with application deployment on Wi-Fi or LTE network is a plug
• Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of transportation domain and train IT subsystems with associated protocols will be a great plus.
• Familiarity with databases like Postgress and SQLite etc.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Hybrid work model available after an initial 6 months’ probation period.
• International project exposure

• Travel may be required (15-20%) depending upon requirement.
