Job summary

Finac is seeking a Software Engineer - Backend to develop and maintain server-side components, ensuring database performance and fast responses to front-end requests. You will write high-quality, reusable code while staying current with Node.js advancements.

The role requires 3-4 years of experience, a CS-related degree, and strong JavaScript/REST API skills, with Docker/Kubernetes experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
• Good experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• At least one year of experience as a Node.js developer.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and the web.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willing to resolve urgent issues outside business hours.
• Nice to have Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, Docker, Kubernetes, API Gateway.

Experience: Minimum 3-4 Years

• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
• Good experience in working with any of the RDBMS like MySQL, Postgres.
• At least one years’ experience as a Node.js developer.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and the web in general.
• Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours.

Good to have :

• Experience with stream-processing and message-broker software.
