Job summary

Oracle Hyderabad is seeking highly skilled engineers to design and build high-scale, cloud-based data processing systems with low latency. You will collaborate with engineering leads and managers to design, implement code, and deliver data processing software to customers and stakeholders.

The role requires experience with distributed systems, cloud services on OCI, and participating in end-to-end software lifecycle, including reviews and production support.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant software systems.
• Strong background in cloud-based data processing and OCI infrastructure.
• Familiarity with code reviews and software lifecycle processes.

You'll work with software engineering leads and engineering managers to perform design, implement code and deliver data processing software to our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems.


• Build cloud services on top of the modern OCI infrastructure.


• Participation in peer/code reviews.


• Participate in the entire software lifecycle, from design to development, to quality assurance, to production deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance.


• Invest in the best engineering and operational practices upfront to ensure our software quality bar is high.


• Optimize data processing pipelines for orders of magnitude higher throughput and faster latencies.


• Leverage a plethora of internal tooling at OCI to develop, build, deploy, and troubleshoot software.
