Job summary

Concentrix in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Architect (TCF) to lead the design of scalable, secure microservices using .NET 8/9+ and C#. You will drive API governance, performance tuning, and inter-service communication with gRPC/Kafka, while ensuring alignment with security standards.

You will mentor engineering teams, set coding standards, and oversee cloud-native implementations on Azure with AKS and serverless options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in software development with 4+ years in an architectural role.
• 4+ years hands-on cloud-native architecture design for distributed enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of Architecture Patterns: DDD, CQRS, EDA, Microservices.
• Ability to create low-level designs such as flow charts and class diagrams.
• Experience with frameworks: .NET Core, .NET 8/9, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and ORM usage.
• Experience integrating with Kafka using .NET client libraries.
• Define reusable components to avoid duplication (e.g., circuit breaker, retries).
• Experience migrating legacy apps to cloud platforms and designing end-to-end cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• System Design: Architect scalable, secure, and resilient microservices and distributed systems using .NET 8/9+ and C#.
• API Management and Security: Experience in designing and managing APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, or API Gateway. Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth2, JWT, and SAML
• Performance Optimization: Proven experience in profiling, monitoring, and optimizing applications for performance using tools like dotnet-trace, dotnet-counters, and Visual Studio's Diagnostic Tools. Expertise in .NET runtime (CLR) performance tuning, memory management (garbage collection), and SQL query optimization
• Microservices Architecture: Strong expertise in building and managing microservices using ASP.NET Core, with resilience libraries like Polly, and developing REST and GraphQL APIs. Experience with inter-service communication using gRPC or Kafka
• AI Integration: Design integration patterns for embedding Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning pipelines, and cognitive services into core product workflows.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee cloud-native implementations, prioritizing Azure Open AI, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and serverless computing.

Governance & Mentorship

• Best Practices: Establish coding standards, architecture principles, and security guidelines for both .NET and AI implementations.
• Code Review: Conduct technical reviews to ensure code performance, thread safety, memory efficiency, and secure data handling. Expertise in conducting thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns, and industry-standard best practices. Proficiency in writing clean, modular, and maintainable code using tools like SonarQube or PMD for static code analysis
• Mentorship: Guide engineering teams through the shift from traditional deterministic programming to probabilistic AI-driven engineering.

AI

• AI Frameworks: Semantic Kernel, Microsoft.Extensions.AI, ML.NET.
• Cloud AI Services: Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Services, Azure AI Search.
• Data Tools: Familiarity with Python data stacks (Pandas, NumPy) for cross-team collaboration.

DevOps & Cloud

• Platforms: Microsoft Azure (preferred).
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, GCP Cloud Build.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in software development, with 4+ years in an architectural role, and 1-2 years hands‑on with AI implementations.
• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud native architecture design, implementation of distributed, fault-tolerant enterprise applications for cloud.
• Should have knowledge to understand and create Target State Solutions using Architecture Patterns: DDD (Domain-Driven Design), CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices.
• Should be able to create Low level designs for Engineering teams For Ex: Flow charts, Sequence diagrams, class diagrams.
• Should have knowledge of reusable components such as Middleware and Action Filters, using an ORM like Entity Framework Core (EF Core), and implementing robust Logging and Monitoring.
• Should have Hands-On experience on : Frameworks: .NET Core, .NET 8/9, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core. Advanced C# (Asynchronous programming, memory optimization, LINQ).. ASP.NET Core Web API development, including implementing authentication and authorization processes (e.g., using ASP.NET Core Identity, JWTs). Project and package management using NuGet and the .NET CLI. Using Entity Framework Core (EF Core), including database connection pool configuration o Event-Driven Implementation: Integrating with Kafka using .NET client libraries.
• Should define Interfaces and re-usable components to avoid duplicate effort - For Ex: Circuit breaker, Retry, Error Handling.
• Experience in application migration and modernization of legacy applications to cloud platforms.
• Deep expertise in architecting and designing end-to-end cloud solutions, recommending architecture patterns aligned to business needs.
• Experience designing approach and leading migrations from on premises to cloud, leveraging database migration services and application migration/assessment tooling (e.g., discovery, wave planning, cutover, validation).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, and managed/container platforms (e.g., cloud-managed Kubernetes services and/or OpenShift).
• Working knowledge of cloud-native CI/CD and developer platforms (source control, build, artifact repositories, pipeline orchestration), distributed tracing/observability, and security services.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, with experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of the cloud native development practices and architectural patterns.
• Experience in leading and managing teams within specialist areas from project planning to execution.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
