Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineer/Architect to define, develop, and maintain both internal and external APIs for our modular product. Your work will enable independent module development, streamlined verification, and customer workflows that remain stable as our product evolves.

Position Overview

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end API strategy: design, standards, governance, versioning, lifecycle.
Define and maintain stable, customer-facing APIs that support long-term workflows.
Build internal APIs connecting modules, enabling parallel dev across teams.
Partner with product, QA, and DevOps to enforce API quality, security, and verification.
Establish best practices: API style guides, OpenAPI specs, contract testing.
Introduce tooling for API documentation, monitoring, backward-compat checks.
Mentor engineers, review designs, and scale API development across the org.

Requirements

8+ years backend engineering; 3+ years API design/architecture ownership.
Strong in RESTful design (GraphQL/gRPC a plus).
Experience with API gateways, CI/CD integration, observability.
Deep knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT).
Hands‑on coding in Go/Java/Python.
Track record of designing APIs used by multiple teams or customers.
Strong communicator and system-level thinker.
