Job Description
We are seeking a Software & AI Engineer to develop and deploy real‑time AI models for UAV systems. The role focuses on anomaly detection, object tracking, and intelligent alerting, fully integrated with our Ground Control Station (GCS). The engineer will build end‑to‑end AI pipelines from model training to deployment on drone hardware and visualization in GCS. Location: On‑site (Surat).
Key Responsibilities
- AI Model Development – Develop and train ML/DL models for PPE detection (helmet, safety jacket, goggles, etc.), intrusion detection, and anomaly detection. Work with image/video datasets and real‑time inference pipelines.
- Object Tracking & Following – Implement object detection, tracking, and re‑identification, locking and following specific targets. Optimize for real‑time performance on edge devices.
- Drone‑side AI Integration – Deploy AI models on edge devices (Jetson, Raspberry Pi, etc.) ensuring low latency inference and efficient resource utilization.
- GCS Integration – Integrate AI outputs into the GCS application: real‑time video overlays (bounding boxes, alerts) and event‑based notifications. Work closely with GCS developers for data pipelines and visualization.
- Alert & Communication System – Develop automated alert systems that trigger alerts based on AI detections and send notifications via WhatsApp or other channels. Ensure reliable and fast alert delivery.
- Software Development – Build scalable back‑end/front‑end components for data processing and AI inference pipelines. Work with APIs and real‑time streaming systems.
- Testing & Optimization – Optimize models for accuracy and precision, low latency and real‑time performance. Perform field testing with drones, model validation and tuning.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in machine learning / deep learning and computer vision (OpenCV, object detection frameworks). Hands‑on with model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Experience with real‑time video processing.
- Programming: Python (mandatory), C++ (preferred).
- Frameworks: TensorFlow / PyTorch / YOLO / OpenCV.
- Edge AI deployment on Jetson / Raspberry Pi.
Preferred
- Experience in UAV/drone‑based AI systems, GCS or real‑time monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of tracking algorithms (SORT, Deep‑SORT, etc.) and streaming protocols (RTSP, WebRTC).
