About the Role:
Are you a digital native who understands what makes content stop the scroll? Do you love brainstorming creative hooks, designing eye-catching social posts on Canva, and keeping up with the latest viral trends?
We are looking for an ambitious Social Media & Content Creation Intern to join our marketing team. In this hands-on role, you won't just be scheduling posts or watching from the sidelines—you will actively write captions, design engaging carousels, brainstorm short-form video concepts (Reels/Shorts), and analyze real-world campaign performance across diverse brand accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Copywriting: Write engaging, punchy captions, hooks, and call-to-actions (CTAs) tailored to Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Visual Design: Use Canva to produce on-brand static graphics, multi-slide carousels, and promotional social creatives.
- Trend & Viral Ideation: Monitor algorithm changes, trending audio, and industry news to pitch creative Reel and short-form video concepts weekly.
- Calendar & Scheduling: Assist in maintaining weekly content calendars and scheduling approved posts across major social platforms.
- Community Engagement: Monitor comments, DMs, and audience interactions to help maintain an active, authentic brand voice.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track baseline growth metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth) and identify which content formats perform best.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Practical Canva Proficiency: Ability to design clean, aesthetically pleasing social media carousels and graphics.
- Strong Written English: Excellent grammar, conversational writing style, and the ability to craft compelling hooks.
- Active Understanding of Social Platforms: Deep familiarity with Instagram (Reels, Stories, Carousels) and LinkedIn formats.
- Portfolio / Proof of Work: You have sample designs, an active personal brand page, college project links, or sample content to share.
- Availability: Able to commit to a 3–6 month internship with consistent working hours.
Good-to-Have (Bonus Points):
- Experience with basic video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, InShot).
- Previous experience running a college club page, meme page, or personal niche blog.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite ).
What We Offer:
- Real Ownership: Publish work that goes into your professional portfolio—no coffee runs or mindless data entry.
- Direct Mentorship: Learn professional brand building, content distribution, and growth marketing strategies.
- Full-Time Opportunity (PPO): High-performing interns will be considered for a permanent full-time position upon completion.
