Job summary

Choice International is seeking an L2 Engineer SOC Operations in Mumbai to support the Security Operations Center. You will handle security monitoring, alert triage, event correlation, incident investigation, and threat hunting end-to-end.

You will also manage SIEM/EDR operations, firewall and DLP monitoring, policy tuning, and SOC MIS reporting, while contributing to detection capability improvements through use-case development and proactive monitoring.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced L2 Engineer SOC Operations to support and strengthen the organization's Security Operations Center (SOC). The candidate will be responsible for security monitoring, alert triage, event correlation, incident investigation, threat hunting, SIEM/EDR operations, firewall and DLP monitoring, security policy and rule fine-tuning, SOC SLA management, and SOC MIS reporting.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience across multiple security platforms and the ability to investigate escalated security incidents, identify attack patterns by correlating events across different platforms, and recommend appropriate containment and remediation actions.

The role will also involve continuous improvement of SOC detection capabilities through correlation rule optimization, use-case development, policy tuning, threat intelligence, and proactive monitoring.
