Rarr Technologies in Hyderabad, India is seeking a skilled Snowflake + dbt Developer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and transformation workflows. The role focuses on Snowflake, dbt, Python, and ELT processes to deliver robust data platforms for business stakeholders.

You will optimize Snowflake queries, develop dbt models, tests, snapshots, and macros, and collaborate with data engineers and analysts to meet data requirements while adhering to CI/CD and code-review

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong experience with dbt Core / dbt Cloud.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience in developing data transformation pipelines.
• Experience with dbt models, tests, snapshots, macros, and incremental models.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of data modelling concepts such as Star Schema and Fact/Dimension tables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT workflows using Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
• Develop and optimize dbt models, transformations, tests, snapshots, and macros.
• Work extensively with Snowflake for data ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and performance optimization.
• Develop Python scripts and applications for data processing, automation, validation, and pipeline orchestration.
• Build reusable and scalable data transformation frameworks using dbt.
• Implement data quality checks, testing, documentation, and lineage using dbt.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouses, storage, and overall data-processing performance.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve performance and data-quality issues.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Follow best practices for Git, CI/CD, code reviews, and deployment of data pipelines.
