Job summary

DXC Technology Company seeks a Snowflake Cortex AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions on the Snowflake platform across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and additional Indian tech hubs. The role demands strong Cortex capabilities, SQL proficiency, and cloud governance expertise.

The candidate will develop semantic models, cortex search, and cortex agents, and implement AISQL-based use cases with Python/Streamlit, delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex and its components.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (dimensional, semantic, analytical).
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and agent design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered analytics and business solutions using Snowflake Cortex capabilities.
• Develop and manage Semantic Models/Semantic Views to enable natural language querying and governed business metrics.
• Build and optimize Cortex Search solutions for enterprise knowledge retrieval and document intelligence.
• Design and configure Cortex Agents for intelligent orchestration of structured and unstructured data sources.
• Implement AI use cases using Cortex AISQL Functions such as summarization, classification, extraction, sentiment analysis, and content generation.
• Develop AI applications using Streamlit in Snowflake (SiS), Snowsight, and Python-based frameworks.
• Create scalable data preparation pipelines, data models, and AI-ready datasets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions and measurable business outcomes.
• Apply enterprise governance, RBAC, security, monitoring, and cost optimization best practices.
• Perform testing, validation, and continuous improvement of AI models, agents, and applications.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Snowflake Cortex AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions on the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will leverage the Snowflake Cortex ecosystem to develop intelligent assistants, semantic analytics, knowledge search solutions, and AI-powered business applications that enable natural language interactions, automation, and actionable insights across diverse business domains.

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, embeddings, and agent design.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building data or AI applications using Streamlit.
• Good understanding of Snowflake platform administration, RBAC, governance, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms and business applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
