Pashet is seeking an experienced sneaker designer to lead product development in leather footwear for the Indian market. You will drive ideation, cad work, and presentation using AI-powered tools like Vizcom AI and Midjourney, ensuring designs are culturally resonant with global appeal.

Ideal candidates have 4–10 years’ experience in footwear or fashion, strong knowledge of sneakers, materials, and construction, and a background from NIFT/FTTI.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years in product development for footwear or fashion.
• Strong understanding of the Indian market with local relevance.
• Experience with leather footwear design, materials, and construction.
• Proficiency with AI-powered design tools (Vizcom AI, Midjourney).
• Knowledge of sneakers industry, trends, and forecasting.
• Graduates from top fashion/footwear institutes such as NIFT/FTTI preferred.

Experience can be 4-10 years with incredible talent and a proven track record in product development within the footwear or fashion industry. Deep understanding of the Indian market with the ability to create locally relevant, culturally resonant designs that have global appeal and scalability. Color theme. Proficiency in AI-powered design tools (e.g., Vizcom AI, Midjourney, or similar) to accelerate ideation, concept development, and presentation. Hands-on experience in leather footwear design and development, with a strong grasp of materials, construction techniques, and quality standards. Strong knowledge of the footwear industry - particularly sneakers - with awareness of current trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. Demonstrated ability in trend forecasting, market analysis, and translating insights into actionable design directions. Expertise in industry-standard design software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Rhino (or similar 3D modeling tools). Preferred: Graduates from reputed fashion/footwear institutes such as NIFT, FTTI, or equivalent. Immediate joiners highly preferred.
