Qualifications

• Proficiency with SMSF/accounting software such as BGL 360, Class Super, Xero or MYOB.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Experience serving Australian-based clients is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs in accordance with Australian standards and laws.
• Maintain SMSF client records, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and investment reporting.
• Review and prepare trust deeds, investment strategies, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in coordinating the SMSF audit process with auditors and timely submissions.
• Ensure SMSF compliance with SIS Act and related superannuation legislation.
• Communicate with clients and financial advisers to resolve queries.
• Use and maintain accurate records using BGL 360, Class Super, Xero, and MYOB.
• Support senior accountants and training of junior staff.
• Stay updated with SMSF legislation, ATO guidelines, and industry trends.
• Contribute to team projects and ongoing client service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Preparefinancial statements and tax returns for Self-Managed SuperFunds (SMSFs) in accordance with Australian accountingstandards and tax laws.
• Maintain accurate andup-to-date SMSF client records, including bankreconciliation, journal entries, and investmentreporting.
• Review and prepare trustdeeds, investment strategies, and compliancedocumentation.
• Assist in and coordinate theSMSF audit process, including liaising with auditors andensuring timely submissions.

Requirements

Skills &Experience

• Minimum 2 years ofexperience in SMSF accounting, tax compliance, oraudit.
• Strong working knowledge ofSMSF regulations, ATO requirements, and superannuationcompliance.
• Proficiency in BGL 360,Class Super, Xero, MYOB, or similar SMSF/accountingsoftware.
• Strong numerical andanalytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working withAustralian-based clients is highly preferred.
• Good written and verbalcommunication skills.
• Ability to manage multiplepriorities and meet deadlines.
