Google LLC is seeking a Share Site Reliability Manager for Memorystore in Bengaluru. You will lead a team of software and systems engineers responsible for reliability, scalability, and availability of the in-memory Cloud Memorystore service.
You will partner with cross-functional teams, own objectives and key results, guide on-call practices, and drive large-scale projects to completion while fostering a culture of ownership and high-quality delivery.

Memorystore SRE makes Cloud Memorystore the world's most reliable, scalable, durable, secure, and best supported in-memory Cloud database. We offer a fully managed in-memory service that offers sub millisecond data access, scalability, and high availability for a wide range of applications. Memorystore's product offerings include Redis , a sharded cluster solution ( Memorystore for Redis Cluster ) and an open source based offering ( Valkey ).
This team surfaces insightful service metrics to customers and stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to scale our alerting infrastructure to cover all customers - while keeping operational load manageable. We continuously verify important assumptions and reduce risks about our services in production as they continue to evolve and change. We also find novel approaches to run our systems more efficiently will always be of interest - but especially with the rise of demand from AI. Using expertise in the overall system architecture, we build automation and self repair into the service to improve customer satisfaction and reduce team toil. We continually look towards common services and tools within GPP to adopt and improve our product offerings.
