Job summary

WSAudiology in Hyderabad seeks a visionary SRE Engineer to champion reliability across distributed systems and cloud-native platforms. You will design resilient architectures, implement SLI/SLO frameworks, and lead incident response to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Kubernetes and IaC experience, and a collaborative mindset to mentor teams as we scale our digital-first hearing care solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-based SaaS platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and public cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability architecture and best practices for distributed systems.
• Build highly available systems with multi-region deployments, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Drive operational excellence including SLIs, SLOs, reliability metrics, incident management, RCA, and continuous improvement.
• Develop cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, and cloud-native tools.
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and mentor peers on SRE practices.

What you will do

• Support Reliability Architecture: Contribute to reliability standards and architectural best practices for distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven platforms.

• Build Highly Available Systems: Design and implement resilient systems, including multi-region deployments, failover, and disaster recovery capabilities.

• Drive Operational Excellence: Implement SLIs, SLOs, reliability metrics, incident management, RCA, and continuous improvement practices.

• Build Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and automate cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, Bicep, and cloud-agnostic architecture approaches.

• Implement Observability: Build monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

• Develop Distributed & Messaging Systems: Work with microservices, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.

• Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with engineering and platform teams, share SRE best practices, contribute to technical decisions, and support a culture of continuous improvement.

What you bring

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

• Experience designing and operating cloud-based SaaS platforms and distributed systems, with an understanding of cloud-agnostic architecture principles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and public cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, multi-region deployments, and system resilience.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and messaging technologies such as Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, along with programming/scripting skills in C#, Python, TypeScript, or Go.
