Job summary
Johnson Controls, Inc. in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, seeks a Site Engineer - IBMS (Contractual) to support execution, installation, testing and commissioning of Integrated Building Management System projects.
You will coordinate with customers, contractors and vendors to ensure timely, quality delivery on site. Required are 2-6 years in IBMS/BMS/ELV, a Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation, and hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm and PA systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- 2-6 years of experience in IBMS, BMS, ELV, or Building Automation projects.
- Experience in site execution, installation, and commissioning activities.
Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise IBMS project activities at site.
- Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PA System, and other ELV systems.
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and customers for site-related activities.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Support material management, inventory tracking, and site documentation.
- Troubleshoot system issues during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to EHS and company safety guidelines.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide updates to project managers.
