Job summary

MKS Inc. in Bangalore is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, sustaining engineering, and documentation of advanced MKS products.

You will report to the Bangalore Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans with engineering teams, performing functional, performance, and regression testing, and reporting defects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 3+ years of product testing, simulation and reporting.
• Knowledge of statistical methods of data analysis.
• Experience with LabVIEW and Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans with engineering teams to validate performance against requirements.

• Identify and track performance for both Hardware and software issues in the design, report defects to the engineering team.
• Stay updated with the current testing tools, techniques and methodologies.

We are seeking a talented Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, sustaining engineering, and documentation of advanced MKS products. In this role, you will report to the Bangalore Engineering Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By

• 3+ years of experience in product testing, simulation and reporting
• Knowledge and experience in statistical methods of data analysis
• Experience with LabVIEW and Python programming Preferred Skills:
• Data base development experience
• Experience in any of the following: 8D, DFMEA, DFx
• Experience in electronic circuit understanding
• Experience in vacuum technology Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
• Ability to use laboratory equipment and occasionally lift and move electronic equipment or test fixtures up to 25 pounds.
• Work is performed in office and engineering laboratory environments.
• Regular use of electronic test equipment and prototype hardware for product development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
