ZF is seeking a Simulation-Digital Twin Engineer in Chennai to advance multiphysics simulations across structural, thermal, and fluid domains. You will lead FE model development, run optimization studies, and align simulation results with test data to guide design decisions.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with global teams, development of simulation procedures per industry standards, and real-time data integration from sensors for a robust digital twin framework.

Job Summary

About the Team: At ZF, Research and Development (R&D), which plays a key role in shaping the future of mobility. Their R&D team combines specific know-how in various technology fields with current trends in mobility, aiming to develop innovative solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability

Responsibilities

• 4-6 Years (Preferable: ANSYS, ANSYS Fluent, MSC Nastran, LS DYNA, n-Code, MBD)
• Design optimization techniques
• Knowledge of PTC- CREO, Python
• Good theoretical and Analytical knowledge in Engineering Mechanics, Design and Engineering materials and Finite Element Methods.
• Good in Analytical Calculation, FEA report preparation and presentation skills.
• Simulation Automation , Knowledge of Fatigue Life Estimation.
• Knowledge of Simulation Data Management
• Engage in close collaboration with global simulation and design specialists.
• Your profile as Simulation-Digital Twin Engineer (m/f/d): Multiphysics simulation (Structural, thermal, fluid, electromagnetic)
• Virtual representation of physical systems, interpret analysis results and suggest best solution to design team.
• Development, planning of the simulation model, validation process in accordance with ASME V&V 10-2019
• Correlation of simulation results with test data/results.
• Creation of simulation procedures for Hybrid Release
• Delivery the FEA results in first time right and on time (FTRoT).
• Support in the creation of design guidelines
• Real-time data integration from sensors
