Job summary

Aadhya Animatics is seeking a skilled Simulation Artist with 2+ years of professional experience to join our creative team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on realistic cloth, hair, fluid, smoke, fire, particle, and physics-based simulations for animation, VFX, product visualization, and XR experiences.

You will work with a collaborative team across Animation, Lighting, Modeling, and Compositing, optimize heavy simulations for production efficiency, and troubleshoot issues to ensure physically

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Simulation Artist or FX Artist.
• Proficiency in Houdini, Maya (nCloth/nHair/Bifrost) or Blender Physics.
• Strong understanding of dynamics, physics and simulation workflows.
• Ability to optimize heavy simulation scenes for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Animation, Lighting, Modeling, and Compositing teams throughout the production pipeline.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Simulation Artist or FX Artist.
• Proficiency in Houdini, Autodesk Maya (nCloth/nHair/Bifrost), or Blender Physics.
• Strong understanding of dynamics, physics, and simulation workflows.
• Experience with particles, fluids, smoke, fire, destruction, and cloth simulations.
• Ability to optimize heavy simulation scenes for production.
• Good communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Houdini FX (VEX/VOPs).
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine Niagara or Unity VFX.
• Experience with Pyro FX, destruction, and crowd simulations.
• Understanding of real-time VFX and XR workflows.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Animation, VFX, Multimedia, or a related field.
