Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop and manage the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Analyze financial trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Financial Reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Ensure timely and accurate internal financial reporting to management and external reporting to regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor the company’s cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments.
• Cost Control & Profitability
  • Identify and implement cost control measures to improve profitability and financial performance.
  • Work with department heads to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze profit margins and work towards increasing profitability by optimizing operational costs.
• Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of audits, working with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
• Team Management & Development
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for finance team members to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest industry practices and regulations.
  • Oversee the daily activities of the finance department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operations.
• Cash Flow Management
  • Monitor and manage working capital, ensuring the company has adequate cash flow to meet its operational needs.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring efficient collections and timely payments.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, including banks and lenders, to optimize credit facilities and financing options.
• Strategic Financial Guidance
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team to support business decisions and long-term growth plans.
